Web Hosting

The AIGA UVU Student Group offers free web hosting to all UVU students with current AIGA student membership. We also offer discounted web hosting to all UVU Art & Visual Communications students for a low annual rate of $24. All domains and email accounts hosted with Mediatemple.net.

Step 1

Order your domain name from GoDaddy.com or another registrar. If you already own a domain name, skip to step 2.

Step 2

Update your domain nameservers to:

• Primary: ns1.mediatemple.net
• Secondary: ns2.mediatemple.net

Do you need help updating your domain nameservers? Email your GoDaddy.com (or other registrar) account information and we’ll make the changes for you.

Step 3

Email web@aiga-uvu.org with the following information:

• Full Name (First & Last)
• Permanent email address (i.e. Gmail or Hotmail)
• Domain name (i.e. mydomain.com)
• Preferred new email address (i.e. contact@mydomain.com)
• Current contact number

Step 4

Collect a “UVU Miscellaneous Department Deposit” from the Cashier’s Office at BA 109 or from Staci Owens in the department office at GT 535. Complete the form using the information below and deposit your payment with the Cashier’s Office.

Step 5

Return the pink receipt to Ray Elder’s office at GT 406.

Once we receive your pink receipt it will take 1-2 days to create your account.
